1  Name some books that you know and have read. Where they would fit on the scales?

2  When choosing a read, we often give the cover a lot of weight in the decision:

• What do you think generally of book covers - do they often give an accurate impression of the contents?
• Are there some books that don't go out because of their covers?
• What did you think of the covers of the books that you brought to the course. Did they affect your decision to read the book in the first place? Were they an accurate reflection of the type of read it was?
