Reader Development Network in Scotland

The Reader Development Network is a national project to train public library staff to become skilled promoters of contemporary literature and to engage with the reading audience in new ways.

The Reader Development Network is managed by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals in Scotland, in partnership with Opening the Book and supported by a Skills Development Lottery Grant from the Scottish Arts Council.

The Reader Development Network website will be launched in spring 2003.
