Using the web

In order to make the most of the ICT network in libraries, staff need to be able to put readers, books and ICT together.  These exercises help staff use online resources in their work with readers.

If your NOF Advanced Outcomes courses require participants to undertake online activity, you can use these exercises as part of the training session.

You could use these resources to add an ICT element into other staff training, induction programmes or as part of your professional development strategy.  Talking Shop  offers staff an opportunity to practice online discussion and build their confidence in being interactive online.
