Featured strategy

Many authorities are planning to write a Reader Development Strategy.  We can all learn from the work that others have already done.  If you have a strategy that you would be prepared to share with others, please contact us.  We will be happy to make strategies available through this area of the website.

Kent Arts and Libraries' Reader Development and Literacy Strategy Kent Arts aims to recognise and support the value of placing reading and the reader at the centre of its service – offering choices of reading and a range of activities, which help to build confidence and enjoyment.

By actively developing readers, the library service hopes to move towards achieving its own objectives and support the strategic objectives of Kent County Council.

This document will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis. To access the latest version, enter via the Arts and Libraries website at www.kent.gov.uk/booktalk or contact Arts and Libraries on 01622 696517.

If you would like further details on any aspect of Kent Arts and Libraries' reader development strategy, please contact [email protected]
