To assess the attitude of readers to the Loud and Proud promotion

Method

Comments sheet in each book asking readers to rate the display, the books, has it taken them to new authors

Analysis

  • Response rate.
  • Tenor of response - positive/negative
  • What next? - based on comments and suggestions

Presentation and use of results

  • Short report to use with library managers, stock managers, senior management, politicians.
  • Set in context of influencing stock selection, reader development strategies, staff training, social inclusion strategies.
  • Some form of feedback to readers
