This short course is designed to be used by library staff who want to introduce whichbook.net to groups of staff in a library.

Participants should have access to a screen, and work either in pairs or small groups. If you are demonstrating whichbook.net on one screen for a single, small group, allow time for everyone to get hands-on experience of the programme during this session. If staff have internet skills, give them the address. If not, you need to have whichbook.net up and running beforehand on all the screens.

Participants should bring along a fiction text that they know, or pick one off the shelves before the course starts.

You will need enough copies of Who Writes Like, Sequels, Fiction Index, The Bookseller - export edition, any tools you regularly use to advise readers or search for fiction titles, for groups to share and pass around.
