The major work of 2002-2003 has been the building of a completely new Branching Out website.   The site has been designed and built by Opening the Book working closely with library staff in many authorities to ensure that the site is practical, friendly and directly meets their needs.

The new website has a simpler, stronger skeleton with easier navigation and a fresh design.  It offers strategic approaches to reader development, taking the content up a gear while keeping a friendly and accessible feel.  We have built a new online administration system to manage the site effectively.  The site went live on 4 December 02.
