Split participants into groups of four or five and give each group a bag of fruit and vegetables. Ask the groups to take out each fruit or vegetable in turn and consider the following questions:

• Do you eat this? 
• Do/did your parents/grandparents eat this? 
• Do your children eat this?
• Where does it come from? 
• If from another part of the world, how long has it been available here approximately?
